Biography:

Chris Phillips is responsible for product marketing, product management and marketing communications throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. 

A graduate of the University of Cambridge, Chris has more than 17 years of marketing leadership experience in the IT industry, having worked in several senior marketing director roles throughout European and worldwide markets.

Most recently, Chris was Chief Marketing Officer at Staffware plc, a market-leading provider of business process management solutions, where he led a global marketing organisation of more than 40 people. Prior to that, he held EMEA Marketing Director positions at Commerce One and Vitria Technology, where he helped establish both as leaders in the European marketplace.

Chris spent the first 10 years of his career at IBM, first establishing a very successful track record in sales, and then holding a number of senior marketing positions. Chris served as IBM's EMEA Marketing Director, eBusiness Solutions where he was responsible for marketing all of IBM's internet/e-commerce, CRM, workflow and collaboration products.
