Following qualification Brian Varley worked as an Accountant prior to joining the IT industry spending 25 years in senior management roles within Sales and Marketing.
Brian was Chairman and Founder of two companies within the IT industry specialising in the areas of software and consultancy. Both these companies were acquired in 1999, one by the NASDAQ quoted Gartner organisation and the other by ITNET a UK PLC specialising in IT outsourcing.
Brian then launched executivesontheweb.com in 1999 which is now recognised as the No.1 executive job board in the UK and Europe. Brian has also advised many companies relating to on-line recruitment internet strategy and is also an active member on committees relating to the online recruitment industry .
